Anti-Spam Policy
Effective Date: September 2026
The Oregon Pacific-Cascade Chapter of NECA (ORPAC NECA) is
committed to responsible email practices and complies with the
U.S. CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 and applicable email marketing
regulations. This policy governs all email communications sent
from or on behalf of ORPAC NECA and the orpacneca.org domain.
1. No Unsolicited Email
ORPAC NECA does not send unsolicited commercial email (spam).
All email communications from our organization are sent only
to individuals who have an established business relationship
with the chapter, including:
- ORPAC NECA member contractors and their designated staff
- IBEW Local 280, 659, and 932 representatives and partners
- Registered attendees of ORPAC NECA events and programs
- Industry partners, board members, and contacts who have
requested information from the chapter
- Individuals who have opted in through our website, event
registration, or membership enrollment
2. No Purchased or Rented Lists
We do not purchase, rent, trade, or otherwise acquire email
addresses from third-party list providers. Our email
distribution lists are built exclusively from direct
relationships with our chapter and industry.
3. No Third-Party Authorization
ORPAC NECA does not authorize any third party, affiliate,
vendor, or partner to advertise the orpacneca.org website or
ORPAC NECA programs through unsolicited email, bulk email
campaigns, or any form of spam. Any such activity is
unauthorized and should be reported to info@orpacneca.org.
4. Transparent Sender Identification
All ORPAC NECA email communications clearly identify the
sender, include the chapter's physical mailing address, and
accurately reflect the subject and purpose of the message.
5. Easy Unsubscribe
Every marketing and newsletter email sent by ORPAC NECA
includes a functional unsubscribe link. Opt-out requests are
honored promptly, typically within 24 hours and always within
the 10 business days required by CAN-SPAM.
6. Email Authentication
Our domain is protected by industry-standard email
authentication (SPF, and where applicable DKIM and DMARC) to
prevent unauthorized use of our domain in spam or phishing
campaigns.
7. Reporting Abuse
If you have received email you believe was sent in violation
of this policy, or if you believe our domain has been spoofed
or impersonated, please report it to:
